Born from a desire to offer more representation to independent artists and their plural forms of creation, the collective Ligojn was created in 2018 at the initiative of Emma Kerssenbrock (FR) and Hilal Can. (TR)
The name means "Links" in Esperanto, a language that proclaims itself international.

Ligojn adapts to any space. Ligojn spreads its roots incessantly. Ligojn is a growing organization with a vocation to create links between different practices and people.
Usually the events consist of an exhibition and several evenings of concerts. The program always includes local artists but also international creators.

Ligojn is as much crazy bathroom pop, various visual arts, (painting, projections, installations...) performances sometimes hectic and sometimes tender, electronic sound poetry, tantric loops, drones and traditional music, unstable rap, mixed and electroacoustic music...
We wish to have a plural and diverse programming in a concern of dynamism during the course of an evening.

Three editions have already taken place. The last one took place in Copenhagen in coproduction with the local collective Noisy Beehive in the fantastic and mythical space of the Water Tower of Brønshøj.
Performances, concerts, sound installations, mapping, visual artists and engineers were mixed during these three days of programming.

Our selection criteria do not concern the musical genre.
But the furrows, the crossings that tend towards the uncertain.
After all, isn't it this doubt that questions us, that questions us, that feeds us?
