HOW TO AVOID SOCIAL INTERACTION AS AN ARTIST

Performance, 15mn

Electroacoustic composition, tights stage costume, plaster mask, plaster molds, talk-box, graphite powder, liquid plaster, colored liquids, various sculptures, doubtful drawings

By incarnating the artist as a grotesque character, I place myself as a mystical figure and question my relationship to the spectator.

By maintaining the image of the lazy marginalized I denounce in a satyric way the myths maintained around the creator, while confronting this entity to the public. A being with an absurd search and without result, ready to do anything to obtain the recognition of the others.

I also seek to explore the notions of proxemia, intimacy and modesty, even discomfort between myself and the spectator.

Finally, I question the importance of our creative process and the possibility of independence of the entities generated.
What is their energetic charge as inert and reanimated objects during performances?
And above all, could the state of the place left after the action not be considered as an installation in its own right?
